Spine is a music player for iPhone, designed especially for people who listen to music as full albums. It’s reflected in both how music is presented and played.
Your music is displayed in a way that is reminiscent of a stack of CD cases — emphasising the album artworks and giving you an overview of your music as a collection of artist discographies.
Playing a full album, as well as putting together a playlist of albums, is quickly and easily done in just a few steps.
How do I use Spine?
I recommend looking at the video above for a concise introduction.
Will Spine work with my favourite streaming services such as Spotify, Pandora et al.?
Spine is compatible with Spotify. Log in with your (Premium) account to have all saved songs and albums from your Spotify library appear in Spine.
You can pull down to refresh your Spotify library if you've saved more albums after logging in.
Some of my music isn't showing up. What could be the reason?
This is most likely due to said music currently being downloaded onto the phone, or that the files are of the “older” DRM-protected kind i.e. downloaded from the iTunes store before 2009.
Why does the total track count only show up sometimes when playing an album?
Make sure the total track count is correct when looking at the file info in iTunes.
